Base Pricing is for Dad + (1) Son and covers the cost of camping, supplies and food.  Additional sons can be added to this trip.

Fathers and sons, get ready for an adventure that will push your limits, deepen your bonds, and create stories you’ll be telling for a lifetime. This is more than just a hike—it’s a rite of passage in the heart of the Rocky Mountains.

We’ll kick things off with whitewater rafting, charging through rapids that will get our adrenaline pumping and bodies primed for the climb ahead. Then, we lace up our boots and set off on a half-day trek into South Colony Lakes, where jagged peaks rise like sentinels, guarding one of the most breathtaking alpine basins in Colorado.

As night falls, we’ll camp under a sky blazing with stars, surrounded by towering cliffs and the quiet presence of the wild. If we’re lucky, mountain goats may wander into camp, and we might even witness climbers defying gravity on the Crestone Peak face.

Then comes the challenge—the summit push to Mt. Humboldt’s 14,064-foot peak. It’s a climb that will test our endurance, but the reward? Unmatched 360-degree views, a sense of accomplishment, and a shared triumph that will forge unbreakable bonds.

This isn’t just a trip—it’s an experience that will build resilience, character, and connection between fathers and sons. So pack your grit, bring your sense of adventure, and get ready to take on one of Colorado’s greatest 14ers together!

    Choose Your Dad Team

    Dads are the heroes of camp by serving on one or more teams.  These teams help camp run efficiently and provide a visible form of discipleship for their son. Learn more about dad teams HERE.

    Available Ceremonies For Your Son

    At the age of 6 and up, Your son is eligible for the Life Verse Ceremony. For this ceremony, you choose a verse or passage from the bible that both speaks to how God has uniquely gifted your son, and can guide him from childhood onward. Click Here for more info.

    At the age of 8 and up, dads craft a sword prior to camp and present it to their sons during a covenant ceremony that marks the dads commitment to leading their son to manhood. Click Here for more info.

    At the age of 13, fathers help prepare their sons for adolescence through a study completed prior to the wilderness trip.  The son memorizes the basics tenants of the faith in preparation for the ceremony.  Click here for more information.

    Cancellation Policy

    Cancellations made 30-90 days before the trip will be refunded in full, minus a $10 refund fee. 
    Cancellations made 14-29 days before the trip will be refunded at 75% of purchase price, minus a $10 refund fee.
    Cancellations made between the day of and 13 days before the trip will be refunded at 50% the purchase price, minus a $10 refund fee.”
