Sand to Stone is a Christian non-profit dedicated to marking a pathway to manhood for boys and their fathers.
Through campouts, wilderness adventures, and rite-of-passage ceremonies, we give Dads the chance to bond with their sons, to put them among like-minded boys and men, and to create a foundation from which to build true biblical manhood into their lives.
Spiritually, you only have to be one step ahead to lead your son. This is our role as fathers: to consistently seek God, submit to His authority, and then teach our families to do the same.
It is the practice of many cultures to mark the pathway to manhood with ceremonial acts and personal challenge. These crucial moments are legacy builders for both and help to establish, charge, challenge, and encourage the boy as he matures.
Sand to Stone recognizes the value of creation and celebrates its divine source. We use wilderness experience to expose our dependency on Him, to connect us with our Creator, and to provide fathers the opportunity to lead their sons down the pathway of manhood.
Boys are both a heritage and our legacy bearers. It is our duty as real men to pass on the purity of manhood as God defines it, and to ensure that our future men live out their roles as courageous leaders of their homes and community.
