Base Pricing is for Dad + (1) Son and covers the cost of camping, supplies and food.  Additional sons can be added to this trip.

Get ready for the ultimate Colorado adventure with Sand to Stone! This summer, we’re trading our hiking boots for the thrill of traversing the wilderness in four-seater UTVs. Our journey begins near Buena Vista, CO with a full day whitewater rafting trip through the Numbers section of the Arkansas river.  The class 4 rapids will widen the eyes firm up the grip which is sure to invoke excitement and satisfy any thrill-seeker’s thirst.
After drying off, we will load up our UTVs and set off toward the historic ghost town of St. Elmo, where we’ll explore the abandoned streets, gravestones of early miners, and soak in the rich history. Next, we’ll set up camp along the serene shores of Mirror Lake, surrounded by towering peaks and breathtaking views.
But the adventure doesn’t stop there! We’ll conquer the mighty Mt. Antero and Mt. White, both of which are part of Colorado’s iconic 13 and14ers, reaching new heights and creating unforgettable memories along the way. Get ready to experience the beauty of Colorado like never before with Sand to Stone!

    Need To Rent Equipment?

    Camping Rental Totes include: Tent, Sleeping Bags, Sleeping Pads, Water Bottle, Backpack, Knife, Headlamp, Carrying Tote, and community cooking and hydration units. 

    There is no cost to using Sand to Stone's equipment for this trip.  We just need to know if you are planning to bring your own equipment for planning purposes.

    Choose Your Dad Team

    Dads are the heroes of camp by serving on one or more teams.  These teams help camp run efficiently and provide a visible form of discipleship for their son. Learn more about dad teams HERE.

    Available Ceremonies For Your Son

    At the age of 6 and up, Your son is eligible for the Life Verse Ceremony. For this ceremony, you choose a verse or passage from the bible that both speaks to how God has uniquely gifted your son, and can guide him from childhood onward. Click Here for more info.

    At the age of 8 and up, dads craft a sword prior to camp and present it to their sons during a covenant ceremony that marks the dads commitment to leading their son to manhood. Click Here for more info.

    At the age of 13, fathers help prepare their sons for adolescence through a study completed prior to the wilderness trip.  The son memorizes the basics tenants of the faith in preparation for the ceremony.  Click here for more information.

    Cancellation Policy

    Cancellations made 30-90 days before the trip will be refunded in full, minus a $10 refund fee. 
    Cancellations made 14-29 days before the trip will be refunded at 75% of purchase price, minus a $10 refund fee.
    Cancellations made between the day of and 13 days before the trip will be refunded at 50% the purchase price, minus a $10 refund fee.”
